Coach Kevin graduated from Churchill High School in 1983 and his senior year received All American Honors for swimming. Coach Kevin received a swimming scholarship and attended Indian River Junior College in Florida where he again received All American Honors.

Kevin returned to San Antonio and graduated from The University of Texas - San Antonio. He coached with The Alamo Area Aquatics Swim Club from 1985-1990, The San Antonio Wave from 2004-2006, and is currently coaching the Central Catholic Marionist High School and Providence High School swim teams and has done so since 2007.

In the fall of 2020 Coach Kevin began AAAA-NE Hollywood Park Swim Team which will begin its fourth season September, 2023.
