Hollywood Park Swim Team is a competitive swim team organized for novice swimmers who are looking to explore the sport of swimming. Through professional instruction, the team will focus on the development of swimming skills for all ages and abilities. Swimmers will build strength, speed and endurance, refine their stroke technique and also be given an opportunity to swim competitively.
Our ultimate goal is for swimmers to properly develop their aquatic knowledge and techniques to a point where they can confidently continue to grow and achieve success in a more competitive environment. As a sport, swimming offers both life-saving skills and the opportunity to be practiced for a lifetime, across generations.
We are excited to represent the Texas Gold swim club in meets and competitions! For swimmers who are not interested in competing, we continue working on developing skills, efficiency and speed in the water.

Location
All practices will be held at the Hollywood Park (Voigt) Pool. The pool is a six-lane, 25-meter, heated outdoor pool located at 701 El Portal Drive, 78232. Restrooms and changing areas are available. There are no showers.
*Please be mindful of the 20-25 mph speed limit within Hollywood Park.*
Parking/Swimmer Drop off & Pick up at the Location:
Many neighborhood children and families use the park during swim team practice.
For the safety of our swimmers and families,
parents can use the parking lot circle
area (by the tennis courts) - and turn left into that parking lot when
approaching the park, drop off near the tennis courts, and circle around.
Swimmers can be picked up in that same spot.
